I walk my yard every morning, checking on my plants during the brutal Arizona heat.  It’s supposed to be nearly 115 for the next few days and no one looks very happy.  No one except my Nannorrhops Ritchiana Arabica who is growing like a weed.  Not sure if you can see in the pic but it is pushing four(!) new branches as well as growing strongly on the main one.  Bought this guy as a small liner from Jungle Music a few years ago and it is definitely not slow here in the AZ.  None of the other palms like him…

I would be curious to hear further comments about the adaption of Nannorrhops to scorching conditions, compared to other heat-loving palms.
