Wow landscape seems very arid. I potted up mine in conventional mix of 50% granular zeolite and 50% peat and this mix was used at 50% as ingredient in the final meta-mix, the rest 50% being coarse perlite.  Plant does fine in it new pot.

I first went to Purnululu a few years after it was declared a national park. There was only one other couple at the campground while we were there. Spent a couple of days camping in Piccaninny Gorge and never saw anyone else the whole time. Quite different now, but still a spectacular place. Although not into palms back then the Livistonas really impressed me.

I have 3 seedlings that are 3 years old. They love the heat of our summers, but don't care for cool weather.
