to the Jaeger's on Saturday, October 21 in San Rafael

Hello Palm Friends!

There will be a Palm Society meeting Saturday, October 21st. The garden tour will be at our property (the Jaeger's) in San Rafael following lunch at a near by restaurant. The garden is frost free and has many palms not usually found in the Bay Area - Howeas, Pritchardia, Ravenea, Cyphophoenix, Basselinia, Dypsis, Acrocomia, Ceroxylon, Chambeyronia, and Burretiokentia to name a few, as well as many companion plants.

This may be the last meeting of the club. The current board of myself, Caroline and Glenn are all retiring after these many years. At lunch, we will discuss the future of the club. If you are interested in volunteering to take over club management, please let us know as soon as possible.

The Palm Society will be covering the costs of lunch to help make the ending 2023 meeting memorable. If you think you'll be attending, please let us know by the end of August so we can get a headcount for the restaurant reservation. This does not have to be a firm commitment. When we get closer to October 21st, we will follow up with instructions for attending lunch and parking at the Jaeger house.

If you are interested in attending, please send an email to Keith or Caroline Jaeger at:

keithjaeger@gmail.com | carocjaeger@gmail.com

We hope to see you!

Thanks, Glenn, Keith and Caro
