I don’t know if this topic has come up at all, but I asked AI to generate palm tree pictures. Here’s what it came up with. What are your thoughts?

The first five pics look like Phoenix nucifera.

They all are pretty cool except number 5 has a palm floating in mid air. I can’t say any of them are particularly realistic, but viewing them purely from the perspective of artistic license, they are nice.

That reminds me of the re-boot of Hawaii 50.  In a place so replete with palms, background scenes often had CGI pakms like this.  This was the case especially when they filmed anything at the Robin's Nest Estate.

So many species,

so little time.

Coconut Creek, Florida

Zone 10b (Zone 11 except for once evey 10 or 20 years)

Last Freeze: 2011,50 Miles North of Fairchilds

A similar impression I got from the few times I watched CSI: Miami. I kept getting annoyed that most of the scenes with palms were filmed in SoCal, and not filmed with the many palms that are grown in south Florida, and would have been much more enjoyable to watch. It should have been produced like Miami Vice.

So what! .....so AI is a zone pusher, you're just jealous you haven't been as successful. 😜

Both lol. Palm trees are getting pretty expensive and if it dies, well that would be a pretty good 100$ gone. I just like to see what it would look like. 👍

Hm, why not have some fun? I signed up with "Deep Dream Generator" with zero knowledge. This is result #1. 🤣

One difficulty for me was a question of artists to choose from; I was pretty sure I didn't want Picasso, but many I didn't know. Chose Michelangelo. Hey, what could go wrong? 😄

Umm, fortunately I've only seen the original.

Hi 107˚, Lo 76˚

Yeah, kinda relating to this but why do clothes from gift shops in socal have coconut palm on them. I’ve never seen a coconut palm in California, so it doesn’t really make sense, and the more iconic palm for California is Filifera Although I do have this sweatshirt, that just makes more sense.
