Yesterday evening, I noticed what appeared to be a variegated Chamaedorea microspadix. To me, it looks variegated, but this could be a nutritional issue.  There is a new leaf in the process of emerging that should give an answer to the coloration. If this plant is variegated, can Chamaedorea microspadix be cloned by its offsets?

I agree, but with the high temperatures this summer and the frequent use of tap water, I am a bit skeptical. The pattern sure looks variegated and the next leaf is very pale in appearance, suggesting variegation. It's a wait and see situation, but I am thinking that this will be a variegated specimen.

Let's hope. I'm 50% on the variegation given the wilting of leaf tips. Is it growing in shade?

The plant was moved to full shade in early august, but it has been over 105F all summer, and just this week have temperatures been under 100F.
