The "Key to the Species Dioon" is one of the best documents I've seen, though I wish they had put in high resolution plant photos when they made it.  The pictures are really badly pixellated: https://www.cycad.org/documents/Key-to-the-Species-of-Dioon.pdf

As Navarro said, the leaves have a "V" to them that is usually associated with Califanoi.  But it's not a "strong" v shape, so I guess it could be Merolae.  The leaflets are spiky and overlap a lot, which is pretty distinctive.  There are some great closeup photos of Merolae towards the bottom here: https://www.agaveville.org/viewtopic.php?t=2277

Initially I thought Purpusii as an option, but the leaves overlap (imbricate) too much.  I'd have to take a look at my Merolae when I get home from work.

It's D. califanoi, just been grown in less-than strong light.
