Growing The World's Largest Flower - YouTube

Hello everyone, I have been a regular (albeit quiet) member of PalmTalk for quite a while. I love reading all of the discussions and seeing all the photographs shared on this platform. A film I recently worked on got published online and thought some of the members here might enjoy watching it so I have added a link to it above.

It's about the incredible team at Bogor Botanical Gardens who have grown the world's largest single flower Rafflesia outside of the rainforest through grafting and via seed. This parasitic plant giant is under huge threat of vanishing, especially as it is naturally quite rare in nature (as not to overwhelm its host plant). Too much ecotourism and habitat loss are huge threats to the flower's existence.

Hope that you enjoy it!
