One great Australian native plant is the Cordyline stricta an absolute beauty of a plant cold tolerant down to 0 degrees Celsius loves water but is dry tolerant heat tolerant up to 43 degrees Celsius easy to propagate from seed or cuttings can be pruned to fit into any garden situation there is a white flowering one and the purple just throws colour in garden like Monet water colours painting a real beautiful plant adding to the tropical look
