I have two sabal mauritiiformis in my garden this one was planted in a sunny position but the garden grew around up and shaded it out but it’s still performing well it’s a tough palm having survived many summer days it does get some irrigation but I can’t  water everything as much a# i would like to so it fairs well for the conditions it’s growing under it will one day grow up through the canopy one day
