I have a group planting of around ten maxima you can tell the difference between the species you don’t have to look that close to know the difference a tough palm these ones have toughened it out over the years to prove themselves a winner they were originally purchased from rosebud farm rich trapnell the only problem I have with archontophoenix in my area is a genetic drift that I worry about with the local species of bangalow palms so iam not a fan of introducing other native species from Australia to my area for the local populations but it is what it is they don’t set seed so far which is good
