my trio of majesty palms is now a duo. One of the pups had a random spear pull. No idea why, just saw a random white dots inside of the pup and noticed it was kind of leaning for the past few days. pull on it and it comes right out. It was definitely rotted so I cut its roots as far as I could, and got rid of the entire palm stem itself. Safe to say it’s dead. What should I do with the other two to prevent this from happening? The other pup is very slightly soft at the base. Might be the normal level of softness I’m not sure.🫤 but does anybody know why or how this happened and how I can protect the others? Thank you for reading my essay.😅

I had some indoors before and they got mealy bugs really bad. Could be that. I haven’t seen mealy bugs on my outdoor ones though. Are yours kept indoors or are they outside in the ground? These are terrible indoor palms by the way lol

It’s mostly outdoors in a pot, but for the winter I have to bring it inside. it has mostly been outside recently, but I have had to bring it in some nights.
