Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, Mauritius (1)

I spent 2 great days in Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden in Pamplemousses, Mauritius. Many palms from the region: Madagascar, Mauritius and La Reunion. There were only a handful palms labeled so please correct me if I identified them wrongly.

Acanthophoenix rubra, endemic to La Reunion and Mauritius

 

A lot of hurricane palms, Dictyosperma album including the variety conjugatum

 

Seychelles stilt palms, Verschaffeltia splendida

 

Hyophorbes

Invasive gecko from Madagascar

 

And palms from Madagascar
