Noticed these new coconuts on our neighborhood beach growing in the higher ground as the older ones slowly lose their footing to the sea. I also took a few pics of the commonest palms in our neighborhood: foxtails, royals, and lipstick palms

Yeah, when I moved here almost 6 years ago the house we rented had them in the backyard. When we bought our first house (new construction) 3 years ago, it came with a young one in the front, as did almost all my neighbors' houses. I did start to take them for granted, sadly, but as I cannot predict whether I'm able to stay here forever, I've decided to go out of my way to enjoy all of the palms that are here.
