Just planted my small Chrysalidocarpus prestonianus I got form a member, thanks, Izzy! I planted it above the soil to protect the heel. 

I wanted to share and see if there are any others in CA that have recent pics. I want to see what I have to look forward to!

Killer plant dude I got a few of these guys . Might be to close to the wall but will be perfect once it gets above the wall! Prestoniana are steady growers . More should be grown here’s my biggest it’s about 6 foot tall now and getting chunky

I don't have any pics to share but I've seen a few in person and they're BIG palms. Not sure if it will be problematic right there but you may want to consider carefully relocating it to a spot where it will have more room.

Not Cali, but here’s a pic of a good sized one with ? 5-6 feet of trunk in South Florida.

The picture is a bit deceiving but there is about 33 inches between the plant and the wall. Hoping that is enough because this is the only place I have left
