Recommendations for a central FL/Orlando palm nursery

I'm going to be driving from TX to FL next week and I'll have some room in the truck.  Looking to grab a few smallish (3-7gal) palms that they don't typically sell in my area, specifically silver Seneroa Reopens, Acoelorrhaphe Wrightii, and Copernicia Alba.  Can anyone recommend a place that may sell them?  I'll be in the Villages and Orlando, but willing to travel a little if anyone knows for sure where they'd be available.

Thanks

MB Palms...CFPACS had held an event there before and Mike has a great selection to choose from.  He does have listed Copernicia alba and Serenoa repens in 3 gallons.

I recall Lukas Nursery in Oviedo had silver Serenoa Repens.  The last time I was there was at least a year ago, so I couldn't be sure.  Knowing Lukas' normal high prices, they probably want $50 each for 3 gallons.  A *possible* spot for them is LaFleur Nursery on 46 in Sanford.  They had about 50x 3 gallon pots there a while back, and 3 or 4 silver ones mixed in randomly.

Lukas *might* have Acoelorrhaphe Wrightii, the only one I have came from TCHP about 2 or so years ago.

Copernicia Alba - I would buy from @NATEtures Domain.  He has two x10g on eBay right now.

Not sure why I never got notifications that anyone answered this!

I tried to reach out to MB Palms a year or 2 ago when I was out this way via email but never got a response.  Do you know if there is any recommended way to reach them?

I just reached out to @NATEtures Domain on , eBay.  Thank you for the heads up!  Lukas has some slightly larger Albas but they were $200.  I haven't found the A. Wrightii anywhere as of yet.  I've stopped at probably 10 HD's and Lowes so far as they all seem to have something different.  I did grab this D. Decaryi for $45 at Lowes, so that was pretty good, although it's a pretty hard zone push for me that's going to need lots of protection.  I found a random variegated Travellers Palm (I know, not a palm) at HD and it's going to haunt me for the rest of my life bc it is too big for me to get back to Texas.  Lastly, you're pretty close, Lukas has 3g Sernoa for $40.  I can't understand how they grow literally everywhere down here yet nobody sells them.  I figured I'd see them somewhere else but may have to swing back through there on the way out.

@Keys6505 I think most people consider Serenoa Repens a hazardous weed around here.  I know I do!  :D  I had several large clumps of the green type in my yard, and I ruthlessly destroyed all of them.  I swear that I'd get a slice on my arm or leg just by looking at them.  And the local wasps LOOOOOOVED to make nests in the fronds.  So it was doubly dangerous around me.  I do like the silver ones, and may find a spot for one somewhere.

As far as Wrightii goes, it's pretty rare to see any in the area.  They planted a bunch in medians in Lake Nona, and I've seen one big cluster a few miles from my house.  But otherwise they are nonexistent.  I don't think I've ever seen one at a local nursery.

You can try calling the phone, but don't be surprised if you get a similar response to myself, @RedRabbit, and @Steve in Florida.  It seems to vary per individual as others have good experiences.  My experience face-to-face was much more pleasant than over the phone.

As far as plants go, I don't know of a whole lot of places that sell these.  We do end up with a pretty good seed stock down this way as there are a lot of mature specimens.

Yeah, I've only dealt with Mike via phone a day in person.

I believe that you will not get a notification unless someone quotes you or tags your name. If it’s just a reply on the thread, you will have to check it to see it.
