Queen Palm Help in California

Hi everyone. My wife and I purchased 3 queen palms for our backyard approx 8 months ago. They were doing really well. I have noticed that two of them have yellowing leaves, and one seems to be splitting from the trunk. The third one is thriving. Same soil, same water schedule. Not sure what to do. I have attached some pictures. We water them approx three days a week on a drip system for about 11 minutes.

Looks like normal " Getting it's toes dug in / old frond yellowing out as it fades out " to me..  Let it go totally brown before trimming off.  Can sprinkle some good quality fertilize around it now, but the palm(s) might not utilize too much of it, esp. if it gets any cooler.

In Spring, give it a good wake me up w/ a good slow release whose nutrient ratio is something like this:  8- 2- 12 ( Can go up to 22% on the amount of K provided ( K = Potassium ), 3x's/year is good. ..Plus minors ( minor elements )

Welcome to PalmTalk!! How often do you fertilize?

I fertilized it only the one time when I planted them. I will give it another slow release. I guess I was just confused on why one looked healthy and hardy and the other two didn’t.

You can’t over water queens. Keep the soil wet. That’s what they like.
