Around a pond in a Zone 10a

I’m looking for top picks to plant around a pond in a zone 10a. It gets full sun.  I was considering Attalea cohone or Carpoxylon macrospermum.  Any other suggestions I should consider?

Calyptronoma Rivalis, Licuala Ramsayi, any Archontophoenix, Ravanea Rivularis, Mauritia Flexuosa, crytostachys elegans, Roystonea Regia, Copernicia Baileyana , fallaensis, and Macroglossa, Thrinax Radiata, Areca Triandra, and any Sabal to name a few. Many different palms would love to be planted on or near the edge of a fresh water source. Some would tolerate complete inundation and some may prefer to be several feet off the bank so that the water table is very shallow and they only receive periodic flooding during seasonal rain events. How solidly you are zone 10 will dictate most of your options.

Carpoxylons have had mixed results in Florida, might want to find a local with one.  Copernicia hospitas like water and love sun and can offer a blue reflection on smooth water.  Bailey or fallensis also offer that great skyline crown silhouette.

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??

On second thought maybe that's not a high enough zone. But it's a good one if you're going for monstrous krakens.
