Don't overwater them, keep the humidity up, shade is best

Would you recommend planting in the ground or container grown

I'm not sure. You are in Australia, I don't know what your conditions are. I know few folks here that have this, they all keep it in a container

I might keep it in pot until I can propagate it and have a few to throw around the garden thanks for your advice

A friend of mine has been propping it by leaf cuttings like a begonia. I'm too chicken to try

Sounds like a good method to propagate them I have another one and it fell of the table and broke a piece off with two leaves and stem I just pushed it into some good medium i thought they would propagate easily time will tell
