My wife decided that Christmas lights were not optional this year (Im talking decorating, not protective heat lol) so I was impressed into servitude….

I went out this AM to look at I don't hate it.

 

i decided to use the trees as a focal point. Taking them down is going to SUCK!

When the votes are all counted at my house, I often lose the vote when it's a tie.

That Bismarkia is going to be in the way someday soon. BTW, The lightning looks just fine.

Nah he has room lol. Ive got a trim plan (but yes i planted him too close in hindsight.)

Right above that area he has a whole bunch of space to blow outward. Because its one floor there. Should be a fun couple of years

I would love to keep them up but the old boots fall off and then the lights come with them. Its a losing battle- so 30 days is plenty!

Microclimate is incredible- ive got the inter coastal about 1000 ft away on one side and the Atlantic about 3/4 of a mile on the other.  Its called zone 9b but i feel like its 10A
