Okay you made me envious of the new Satakentias, Licualas and Calyptrocalyx. The others are nice palms too but so slow growing ....I like to get results quickly.  Speaking of which, I thought I got an amazing deal on some palms this week. Posted monday,  arrived on tuesdays and potted up. Dead by thursday !! 2 seem to be just hanging on ....that will teach me not to deal with people not in the Palm Talk family.

Iam not to sure on the brassiophoenix going in the ground I got one alive still surviving after two winters in a hothouse and as for moderate rainfall not a lot in sunny hot halfway creek but good hot grow conditions for tropical varieties just add water
