This is a small bulb from South Africa around the cape.  This is the time of year it blooms. Kinda rare I think? This one is growing under grow lights so may not be as vivid colors as ones grown in sun.

Spelling is wrong on second word…aroides

I finally found the plant tag for anyone interested in growing one. There is also a fire engine 🚒 red.
 

Truly the right name is Lachenalia aloides var. quadricolor, and the color on mine is correct.
