the damage in the first pic is fungal leaf spotting.  the hairs in the second pic are normal ramenta.  🥰

:greenthumb: ..Agree on the Fungal - related spotting.  Might be a possible Nut. deficiency ( Possibly Mag / K  ) as well..  Easy to remedy come spring.

Ramenta = el natural part of frond anatomy for the species.

Ok, so a fungicide would help them then, which one works well for fungal spotting?

 Those spindles also have mealybugs. Treat those with imadacloprid
