Bismarck Palm Help!

Recommended Posts

Hello. My Bismarck palm has new spears and growth but many fronds look droopy and not "silver". I'm in Southwest Florida and it's been over a year since it was battered by Hurricane Ian.

I am looking for any insight or advice to what may be wrong (if anything) as it just seems more lower fronds are losing color and looking sad.

Are you talking about the black drooping things? If so, it’s the palm’s inflorescence.

The browning lower leaves are older and dying back as a normal part of growth.

No the lower leaves turning like greenish yellow and drooping. I know the black parts are fruits.
