Does look like Chamaedorea metallica.

If growing indoors keep a sharp eye out for spider mites. They can kill this palm quickly.

C. Metalica , a great palm for low light . Fairly fast growing and somewhat cold hardy if protected in 10a. or 9b outdoors. They can survive for many years in pots.

Thanks

Looking at the picture, it seems there are multiple plants in the pot.. Cross your fingers,  hopefully there will be -at least- one male or female plant in the pot..  Very easy to germinate seeds and grow here.. If you ever find one ( or a couple.. )  Cham. ernesti - augusti,  the other, reasonably common  " Fishtail " Chamaedorea  did fine here too.

Just don't make the ..really.. dumb mistake i did w/ mine ( ...and my ernesti specimen ) and keep them where they get -any- afternoon sun ( ..or any direct sun at all ). ...Not good, lol. 🙃🤦‍♂️= me after loosing both my older colonies, male and female plants / 2 pots full of seedlings after moving here.

As mentioned, they can do great indoors too.

Fantastic find. Wish my Lowe's carried these uncommon Chamaedoreas. Years ago I bought pots containing 4 individual plants. I separated then potted each so they did not compete. One palm in each pot was pinnate instead of whole leaf.

Liberate that sucker….  I always scan the plant sections of various Lowes and HD.  About once or twice a year I’ll run into an out-of-the-way palm, bromeliad, or croton.   Last year I walked in and they had 8 pots of older double coonties for cheap.  Bought them all on the spot and planted them out.  Last month I bought every little $5 bush on fire/batik croton that had appeared in the indoor plant section.  Sometimes they have a pleasant surprise there.  I’d snag Metallica if I saw it there.

Thanks, everyone. It sounds like a good choice for a sunny windowsill.

Following the trail put forth by Nathan, ( ...Not me,  silly,  lol )  decided to see if i might stumble upon a pot of green gold at one of the local Blue Boxes.

Green Gold  ..Found!   Something else on the " houseplant " list in the the lower left  corner of the shot too ( Anthurium superbum ) but passed on it since the foliage / roots weren't looking great.  No, lol ..i didn't buy all 4 ( 5 actually ) pots o' Metallica on the shelf.  One is fine. No need to be greedy..   Though i'll be keeping my eye out, just in case i decide to add one more ..to up my male to female ratio odds.

Fingers crossed both sexes are in the pot ( 4 plants P/P )  No repeating the mistake of putting it outside, at all, during the summer  either.. 🙃
