How do I grow a Guadalupe Fan palm seed without having to wait months for it to sprout? If you know, please  give detailed information. Thanks!

Typically germinating palm seeds take at least a couple of months and Brahea edulis is no exception.  Some have had quicker success by exposing the embryo of the seed which is referenced in the thread below.  I have tried it myself with limited success but conditions need to be ultra sanitary to avoid fungus.  Good luck!

Here is a photo of my Brahea edulis:

The Brahea genus evolved in an arid climate: dry heat, low humidity, scant rain. They do poorly in FL's summer swelter. Years ago I was advised that Brahea decumbens might have a chance to survive FL's hostile climate. I bought one. It managed to survive 18 months before croaking but never actually grew. I decided not to waste time or money on more Brahea spp.
