With palms being famous all around the world over time with many a object devoted to the palm memorabilia for every day use sold mostly sold as tourist merchandise but a great link to the past with antique treasures to be found in opportunity shops or markets or antique dealers for collectors keen to pay for an opportunity to some great palm memorabilia in the form of plates or a tea pot coaster

I purchased this image of Howea belmoreana at  the 'flea market' in Paris .  L'Ilustration Horticole,  circa 1875, hand tinted lithograph.

Here is my non-viable seed of Lodoicea, and also my current screen wallpaper, an image of Mt Lidgbird and Mt Gower.

And a non viable coco demer even a better find iam sure the sailors of the past have fond memories of those palm seeds and the screen saver definitely an Australian theme there with the kentia lithograph I hope you have hedyscepe palm growing to complete the collection

Richard, I live on an urban property only 8 meters wide.

  Planted  in ground, I have, from trunked adults to small starts,.... 10 Howea forsteriana,  5 H.  belmoreana,  6 Hedyscepe, and 4 Lepidorrhachis. 

I also have 2 large plants of Dietes robinsoniana.   :)

My screen saver is a picture from Mt Gower past a Hedyscepe looking down to the bay where your screen saver picture was taken.
