Hi @Ztorch, I found some listed with http://www.botanics.com in Homestead. They have 65 gallons for $750.00.

Do those wholesale places down there sell to the public? I’ve never tried to buy from any of them but I was wondering..

Hi @D. Morrowii, The answer to your question is, it depends. Some will happily sell to the public and others will require you to show a license/ registration. I have technically been a nursery for over 10 years, but I rarely sell to the public. It is easy to get a nursery license through the Florida Department of Agriculture Division of Plant Industry. I believe it runs me about $45.00 per year. From memory (could have changed), you can have up to 4999 plants on your property and still use your home address. The department conducts one annual check of your inventory to limit the spread of diseases and pests. All fairly painless and normally gives you an excuse to talk shop with the inspector. I highly encourage people to get a license and save their money. Wholesale prices are generally 50% of retail.
