I got a Butia Odorata allmost 5 years ago. It was originally around 1 meter. But it is now around 1.5 with most of the growth happening horizontally.
Is fruiting around the corner Soon?
could I speed up the prosess fertilizing it more?

Butia are very variable in their growth but it should be about time for fruiting. You might want to try a composted bagged cow manure top dressing then cover that with a straw or bark mulch. That would be low in nitrogen so would not encourage as much leaf growth but would give the plant a great boost of energy and a lot of micro nutrients it may lack.

I have one that was planted from a 3 gallon size to fruiting within 7 years.  Four that I transplanted 2+ years ago that had been fruiting apparently still have not recovered from the shock as they have yet to fruit again; hopefully I see some action this year.

This is the one that was planted as a 3 gallon in 2016...
