I can’t find my acquisition photo but in Nov 2020 I bought an Areca catechu in a small pot, it was maybe 2’ tall, here it is in June 2021 and then today, it has somewhat outgrown the adjacent red Ti plant.  Pretty decent growth rate.

 Next year you’ll be looking up at it, a ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ situation. One good thing though, it keeps a nice green trunk for a long time.
