Brown and black spots along Pindo Palm

PindoPalm

Recommended Posts

My pindo Palm is developing brown and black spots along its petioles and leaflets. I do not know if this is because the nursery did not clean their trimming tools prior to the purchase about 5 months ago. Here are some photos

Most likely not from trimming performed months ago.  Could be from a variety of things, but if it were mine I wouldn't be alarmed.

Agree. Appears cultural (sunburn, stress, etc.)

I'd agree, most likely just the result of "transplant shock," a bit of sunburn, and some winter cold spotting.  Spots like that are frequently a sign of a mild potassium deficiency, so a dose of fertilizer is a good idea.
