Hello everyone, I just wanted to share a picture I found online of what appears to be a branching tree fern, has this happened to any of your tree ferns?

wow didnt even know that is possible.  could that possibly be multiple individual plants that has adapted to the outer trunk in a terrestrial manner?  i suspect many tree fern trunks have soil organic like outer trunk coverings especially in a humid environments.

very similar with growing terrestrial orchids in miami using sphagnum moss wired tied to tree trunks.
