I had the opportunity to stand level with the crown of my approximately 15' tall foxtail, so I took a picture.  The picture was taken looking down on me, so it makes me look shorter and wider than I really am, but oh well.

Any other unique rooftop shots? I think there was an earlier post on this topic, but here we go again.

Nice looking Wodyetia! And it looks like you're standing real close to the edge there...? ???

Anyway, yes, we had at least one rooftop thread before, maybe several. I took a number of photos on top of our roof last year, and posted a couple of them. Here are two of my favorites. And we have a 2 storey house, so eye level for me here is about 27-28 ft above the ground.

Here's a group of Clinostigmas. The ones more or less in the middle (across the photo) are C. samoense. The taller one in the background (center) is the mystery (or hybrid)  Clinostigma and the taller one to the right is a C. ponapense.

Here's looking straight down our driveway (which is more or less "S" shaped, so you can't see the house from the street). Taller palm in the upper left is a Pigafetta elata, just below it is a C. samoense, and there are a few more of those on the right (fronds visible, but not the trunks). The "smaller" palms immediately to the left of the driveway (lining it) are Neoveitchia storckii.

Nice rooftop shots there guys!

I may climb up on my roof later to see if I can find my truck out in the jungle of weeds...

The problem with taking shots from the roof is that we have a curved roof. I don't think I am game to go up there, Scott... probably  :;):
