They are nice looking little palms and now that I see they do fine long term in pots, I might change my mind about planting them.

Peachy

I came. I saw. I purchased

27.35 south.

Warm subtropical, with occasional frosts.

Well as you have sold me two already, it may take a while before I can squeeze in any more.  I had intended to plant them at the shady end of the fish pond (yet another project I am yet to finish) but  you have inspired me to keep them potted.  Now I have to find something fabulous to upcycle into a planter or get really radical and fire up the kiln !

Terracotta pots are only one step up from plastic pots.  Even the tiny terracotta pots they are in at the moment have been sealed and painted a pretty  pink.

Beautiful palms. Too bad you are on the other side of the planet. I have a lonely female looking to shack up if you were closer. Oh that's right, you guys are heading into winter; or whatever you want to call it in your neck of the woods. Surprised the rain hits the ground down there with you all being upside down and all....

Oakley, California

55 Miles E-NE of San Francisco, CA

Solid zone 9, I can expect at least one night in the mid to low twenties every year.

Hot, dry summers. Cold, wet winters.
