Grew this little tacker  from some seeds I purchased a fast growing palm it was sitting in a tray of water and the results are clear it drank as much water as it wanted and powered along easy to grow and germinate a nice palm adding a bit of lime green colour to the garden in the years to come

They are very tropical looking for their level of cold tolerance. I am surprised more people don’t grow them. They are fairly uncommon even in the South Florida nursery trade.

Yes, easy germination... I purchased a package of 100 seeds last year, hoping to get 5 palms for myself, but germination was ~80% and the community pot is overcrowded. Robust seedlings, developing quite large roots; I've already transplanted ~30 seedlings from the community pot to containers and growth bags, with not a single fatality.

How old is the plant in your pictures? 2 years?

Yes a easy to grow and germinate Areca concinna is another good one very similar 80 percent strike rate is pretty good the one I planted is 3 years old once you get them past the seedling stage they take off
