I can't find any information about this variety in the forum. What are the differences with the blue form? Growth speed, resistance to cold, size...

Thanks!

Green form originates from near coastal / coastal areas of Sonora ( Guaymas / San Carlos ), while the blue / silver form is found up in the mountains east of the coast ( Sierra Madre Occidental ).

Green / Coastal form is supposedly a touch less cold hardy than the blue / silver form but, both grow happily in Tucson where lows can drop into the mid / lower 20s F occasionally in winter / can see a dusting -3" of snow once or twice every so many winters.

The green form is the variety whose habitat is in coastal areas and is slightly less cold hardy than the silver form from a higher elevation.  I don't have experience with the blue/silver form but I believe both varieties grow slowly to a very large palm although growth speed probably varies due to growing conditions.  My green form survived 9°F in our historic freeze of February 2021 with only slight foliage damage.

I should add that specimens of ..Likely the green form... have been observed / documented  just south of the Loreto region of Baja Sur on iNaturalist, as of last year.
