Good looking palms . I love the color , very similar to the coloring on my Lutescens canes. Are these tropical varieties? Harry

And here’s Chrysalidocarpus Hovomantsina Hybrid showing its first flower after a leaf drop.  The inflorescence cover is almost black which really stands out from the white crown shaft.

You are right @Hilo Jason, the coloring on that hybrid is super cool. I had no idea Hovo’s get that coloring, even being a hybrid. Buenò!!

In addition to the nice colors, the large ring spaces stand out to me.  That vigorous display of growth in Hawaiian grown specimens.   Well grown and happy palms Jason!

Another leaf drop happened today showing hybrid color and strange splitting behavior. I bought this as Chrysalidocarpus Malcomberi hybrid.

I'm impressed by your C. hovomantsina hybrid! In particular that the leaves remain green all the way down to the tips. Not the case with mine....

thanks Kim. Would love to see a photo of yours. I haven’t seen any Hovomantsina hybrids around besides this one so would be great to see another.

Oh, mine isn't a hybrid, but you have me wishing it were.

Ok, gotcha.  I have 3 that are not hybrids along my driveway, such great palms.
