This is sensational! I had no idea that the south of Spain was capable of growing Adonida merrilli not to mention the numerous other tropical varieties you have chosen. If you can grow Adonida merrilli in that beneficent Mediterranean climate, or micro climate, that you have, Cocos nucifera is a must try. What you have accomplished is amazing!

Do you have a special microclimate in your area? What are your winter temperatures and relative humidity? Thank you for your presentation!

Hi Keith, thanks for the kind words 👍 i do have a slight micro climate here, its never drops below 0c are rarely goes below 5c and when it does its for an hour or 2 early morning and days are back up to 16-20c at least. Its pretty dry here so i have to water a lot but that seems to be a good thing in winter time. Usually most of our rain comes in spring or just after summer.

As impressive as your garden is - and it is - I'm almost more impressed that you actually have a yard.  I thought everyone in Spain was just jam-packed right on top of each other!

Beautiful palms!

Thank you! Thats strange that you think that because Spain is a fairly large country with not such a large population, here there is beautiful country side everywhere you look. I guess its like anywhere else if you just see the city life you get that impression but there are plenty of nice areas away from the city.

We Americans assume ignorant things about Europe all the time.  Par for the course... lol 😆

:greenthumb:  Couldn't agree more..  and just so you know,  no, not all Americans hold such assumptions about places outside our little " box "    ..Not by a long shot.

Some absolutely stunning, wide open landscapes -outside the cities- in that part of the world..

That is an amazing yard must have taken years to perfect.

If I had a dollar for every time you posted on PalmTalk specifically to object to something I said without mentioning me by name I'd be rich.

Holy hell this is an awesome transformation.  Do you have progress photos from the same vantage point throughout the years?

Kid,  You're in the wrong country if objecting opinions bruise your ego.   :greenthumb:  Moving on.
