They never disappoint.

I need to acquire one at some point.

Awesome! Is that color always there or just when the old base falls away? Harry

They get “brighter” for a few weeks after old base falls, then slowly fade - but never losing color entirely - ranging from this color to more blue. I seem to remember posting photos before around July 4th - so maybe that’s Prime Time.

Well, that falls in the category of ‘spectacular.’ That intense color reminds me of my Lemurophoenix when it sheds a leaf sheath. These two palms were always a focal point in your garden, glad they continue to be.

Mine are relatively slow growing and just keep plugging along.

Now on the wish list. What a stunning crownshaft!!!

For those of you that frequent Facebook, I’ve set up a group called “Pommy palms”, where many of the palms I’ve seen since emigrating to Australia have been documented. If you wish to be a member, copy and paste “Pommy palms” into Facebook to view the page and click “Join group”.
