Hello Everyone, Is this normal for a Christmas Palm? or are the Fronds more solid green?

Thank You

not to scare you (because it was probably my fault🙃) but my majesty started like this and its now almost dead. give lots of fertilizer, check for root rot, make sure no mites, and make sure you give proper sun and watering. those were all possible issues i had with mine. your tree looks fine now but if it gets worse.. good luck.

This looks nutritional. You need @Merlyn to take a look.

@Palmlover_78 being in Ontario, I am guessing they were inside until maybe April?  The small spots could be something like spider mites, but I would guess a nutritional thing. Or sudden sun exposure, but nothing really has that odd reddish brown burn on horizontal surfaces of the leaves.  So I would guess the random splotchy areas are a Potassium deficiency.  That would fit with the 9-3-9 fertilizer, usually palm stuff is more like 8-2-12 or similar ratio.  Some Sulpomag (or Kmag or langbeinite) might be a good slow release fertilizer additive.  I can't say for sure, I have never tried griwing palms indoors.

I would also check to make sure your soil medium drains okay and isn't too dense.  There are a lot of good discussions on here about soil mixes and watering methods.

They should have a uniform deep green color to the leaf
