A great Australian native plant that’s very tough with an absolute beautiful flower that has form and structure that’s amazing to look while not up there with an award winning rose it certainly has a place in the dry part of any garden definitely worth growing.

Tough in Australia, dead in Florida. I love Proteaceae, but the only one that will grow in the Miami area that I'm aware of is macadamia.

They need super fast drainage there are a lot of ares in Australia where they wont grow either.
