Alguien tiene experiencia plantando Arenga ryukyuensis en el norte de España? Me preocupa sobretodo la viabilidad en invierno de las plantulas jóvenes.

In winter we go down to -2 degrees Celsius, but in January 2017, we went down to -5.7 degrees Celsius, a killer winter!, but arenga ryukyuensis did not even have a single burn on the leaves

They are planted in mild microclimates in southern England such as Ventnor (zone 10a) but slow growers. Should be fine.

here they grow quickly,and they also produce seeds

En las zonas litorales del norte no tendra nigun problema. Al interior hay que contemplar el clima local.
