We have Sea Grape down here all over, the dropped leaves can be a real pain, and with the leaf size so big, it's challenging even with a blower to sweep them into pile to collect them.

Bambusa Vulgaris Wamin I had a cluster ten years ago, got to be about 12' tall, also dropped lots of leaves completely carpeted the area, but when the wind blows the leaves went everywhere.  I planted it too close to the fence, and the leaves dropped on my neigbor's side too, I felt guilty, then when it did spread, it's a clumper so not like the invasive runners, but as it spread it started to grow near the wood fence with the wind blowing the stems will rub against the fence and made a scratching noise.  Eventually I removed it.
