Hey ya'll,

Trying to figure out if I am going to offer some Dypsis onilahensis (upright form) seed. Any interest? I would be asking $20/50 or $30/100 + shipping (depending on seed quantity and location). Would only offer shipping to US mainland. This palm is an offspring from Louie Hooper’s tree. Send me a DM if interested, thank you :)IMG_2594.thumb.JPG.6d7add645b90b5562d10606f6c99209a.JPG

From what i last read, this will soon key out as the true C. onilahensis, while the weeping form will be described as a new species. Don't remember where i heard it. Maybe someone can opine..

I also remember reading about that. This palm has done so well for me, I transplanted it when it was smaller, and it didn't skip a beep. It looks perfect all year, has been exposed to temps in the high 20's and upwards of 113 degrees in heat waves, nothing has phased it. Its one of the prettiest and neatest palms in my garden.

Pm sent

Oakley, California

55 Miles E-NE of San Francisco, CA

Solid zone 9, I can expect at least one night in the mid to low twenties every year.

Hot, dry summers. Cold, wet winters.
