Is this Kentia large enough to handle full sun?

Given it is slowly acclimated using shade cloth that is. It’s is currently growing into the roof haha, I need to relocate it somewhere maybe next season.  Perhaps I will remove a very generic Palm and plant it there. Does Kentias bend out If I plant it close to the house? IMG_1774.thumb.jpeg.7d378144091f45d525a4d2f15375858b.jpegIMG_1784.thumb.jpeg.ea9eef7665484bbecfcddfae17d50e4f.jpeg

That spear looks robust enough to try and burst through the ceiling! From what I have witnessed they will lean away from the house if planted close. But they will not lean too far like Kings I believe. I am sure others who better have experience planting too close to a wall can chime in!

Kentia Palms can grow very close to a house but that is too far for it to bend. The palm has not seen direct sun so it will burn badly if you try to introduce it too rapidly . It will take several months or a year before it will be ready. Shade cloth will help it acclimate . Either way it will survive but the idea is to try to keep it looking as nice as possible .

I have one very close to my house . It has been there since it was a seedling. it slowly grew into the sun over a 15 -20 year period . HarryIMG_0379.thumb.jpeg.da7c4bddd869c201e57c267e786905b5.jpegIMG_0380.thumb.jpeg.8ec1e556b942bae72c3afe277bbf477c.jpeg
