Newly plant coconut trees with dried up flowers and white fuzz

I bought some coconut trees in Thailand that were a few years old (trunks 1.8 meter tall) and planted them at the beginning of the rainy season 5 months ago.

I watered and fertilized them at first, but since it's been so rainy and I was away, I haven't done anything.  There hasn't been much new growth, but most of the existing leaves remained and still look a healthy dark green.

But almost all the coconuts (they arrived with many full size fruit) have dried up and fallen off prematurely. The flower stalks have turned black and some are covered in a white fuzz that I am guessing is fungus.  Some new flower buds (not sure what called) have also dried up before fully opening.

I assume the coconuts dropping is from the shock of transplanting and will eventually resume growing.  But I'm concerned about the white fuzz.  The fuzz is only on the dried up bits, not on any of the leaves or green flower stems.

Should I spray the trees with something or cut off the fuzzy flower stems?
