Yes, they appear to be still growing, but need a little trimming. It also looks like some are "missing" probably due to disease.

To think that in 1910, the new "tech" in that neighborhood was automobiles and electricity, but Canary Island date palms remain timeless.

Here's a Google Street View from the same spot, you can see the grey house on the right is the same one:

I *think* it is...it's the only one I spotted with the rounded roof bay window next to a hexagonal roof bay window:

It looks like just South of 15th St, so your guess gave me a great spot to start!  :D

They are definitely still there. Here’s a photo taken from Mint Hill about 3 blocks away looking south down Dolores Street on these palms. Mission San Francisco de Asis is at 16th and Dolores. 
 

I think someone has started planting Jubaeas to replace some of the CIDP that have died from fungal infections.
