Hey guys, new here and making my first post after a while of regularly surfing this site. It’s amazing to see how many others have the same passion for these plants. Anyhow, now it’s my turn to share some of what i’m working with. I started with palms rather recently, maybe a year or two ago, despite having lived with them all around me for quite a while. And my first real experience growing them has come with dates, which for me have been relatively easy and needless to say are beautiful when mature. So without further ado, i’m going to try to show the progress i’ve made so far. This thread will only cover one in specific because I have way too many plants to post all the pictures of.

Back with a current update

it’s pushing the 7th leaf strong so far and starting to get some leaf division

unfortunately due to the humidity from last months weather a some leaves caught fungus and died

on a side note, while this palm is the oldest of the bunch, some younger dates have more advanced leaves than this one
