Three uncommon Syagrus

I'm lucky to have acquired these 3 uncommon Syagrus from a dear friend who wishes to remain anonymous. They arrived in pretty bad shape after a long trip bare root, but have recovered nicely over summer in my little greenhouse. (Santosii spent nearly 2 months in customs and arrived barely clinging on to life). I'm bringing them indoors to not risk losing any over winter in Central California 🙃

Has anyone had experience with any of these species? I will keep them potted for some time but I would eventually like to put them in the ground if they seem to be hardy enough.

I have not heard of these species. I just got a Schizophylla that I planted under a Butia . I think the Syagrus genus is pretty hardy . Your are quite young so bringing them in for the winter is a good idea. Good luck , they look like they are recovering well. Harry

Don't have experience with these, bur Palmpedia.net has all three of them listed, only one of them has some frost tolerance, so if I were growing them I'd keep them potted.

I have several other Syagrus species I'm growing here in NE Florida (outside of romanzoffiana) and all are potted except for campylospatha due to there potential tenderness of my growing zone.
