The leaf rings on the trunk aren't as described but for all intents and purposes it appears the same.

Looks like it to me but I know leaflets of mahajanga have the characteristics also. I have both in garden but are still small. I'll post mahajanga when it gets bright out. Here is a mature one I've seen and a picture of my Burtscherorum

Thank you, I have always been under the impression that it was Mahajanga but I'm interested in others opinions on this.
