New fronds emerging on Bismark Palm (AZ) are yellow

I had been away for 6 weeks, and on my return I noticed the emerging fronds on my bismark are yellow.  Temps dropped quite a bit in that time, to low 40s, highs 70s. Over/under water? Temp? Malnourished? The outer fronds appear just fine. I appreciate any advise you can offer

Normal on brand new leaves until they have a chance to absorb more sunlight.

What Jim said is correct but note that sometimes this can last a little longer in the winter than in the summer because the plant is generally growing, moving and photosynthesizing slower and the sun is lower and not as strong.  Perhaps why you noticed it now but not in the summer.

@dpepsi I have also noticed my Bismarcks opening up fronds "early" in the winter.  They tend to open up shorter than normal.  After a few months the fronds seemed to grow out to more or less "normal" summer length.
